The church held a Bowling for Outreach fundraiser in March of 2007. We collected $1600 for the South Palo Alto Food Closet – we subsequently used that money to shop for supplies for the Food Closet several times over the next couple of years. The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) proclaims Jesus Lord, draws its inspiration from Scripture and the Holy Spirit, witnesses and serves among the whole family, acknowledges that Christian unity and Christian mission are inseparable, and claims as its particular mission the quest for the reunion of the Body of Christ, celebrating weekly around the Lord’s Table the life, death, resurrection and continuing presence of its Lord.-
